Sunny Sam, the Sun Festival Committee Members, and our presenting partner, the Business Improvement Association of Tsawwassen(BIA), once again presented the
2009 TSAWWASSEN SUN FESTIVAL
A HUGE thanks once again to our sponsors who made it all happen and to all those volunteers who assisted during this fabulous 3 day event.
Up to date, this is the feedback:
The slo-pitch tournament like the previous years was very successful. The Beer Gardens were a great place where old friends met and caught up on life and slo-pitch games, some more victorious than others, were celebrated.
The Kiwanis pancake breakfast continued to offer the best tasting pancakes.
The marketplace offered participants over 60 booths to visit for great selective shopping, games, crafts, and information.
The parade was entertaining, and colorful. The antique fair once again offered a fantastic seletion of items and it was highly frequented, by people from all over Metro Vancouver and the fireworks were magical and mesmerizing as always. The stage presented entertainment filled with rythm and great local talent.
Congratulations to the winner of the 50/50 ticket winner: blue ticket # 873113 ($630.00)
Congratulations also to the winners of the skateboard competition, the slo-pitch winning team, and the winners of the pie eating contest.
